I have a Winchester Featherwieght with a gorgeous peice of wood on it and 98% bluing at least. Chambered in 30-06 with the pre 64 claw extractor. How much could I get for it do you think? I need to finance a CMP M-1. I was going to ask 450.00 as they aren't made anymore and it is a great looking gun. I'll try and put some pics up.

I've seen them go (actual pre 64) from $750ish on up, depending on what shop you go to. I picked up a 1949 vintage model 70 in '06 at Jim's in Menomonee Falls back in 2002 for $850... But that was an impulse buy big time...

Bs, is it a pre 64... or a "classic?"

BsChoy,

I'd say $450 is a very fair price. I bought one of those rifles in 6.5x55 a few years ago, and paid $415 for it.

I recently sold a Featherweight Classic in 300WSM for six. It did have a B&L 3000 on it. Somebody wanted it more than I did.....Essex

It is a classic not an actual pre 64...
