I am planning to have work done on my Kahr K9 and would appreciate any recommendations for a Gunsmith in the North Orange County area of California. Closest cities are Fullerton, Anaheim, Brea,La Habra,Santa Ana.

ARM-USA on State College, just north of the 91, could probably recommend a good smith.

I think Dave Lawver in Covina has a good reputation among the competitive type shooters around here, don't know if he works on Kahrs.

You might also check out Evan's Gunsmithing World (http://www.egsw.com) and see if you like there work. I've seen some good work from them in the past.

However, if you are willing to drive a little ways, I think you should give consideration to Kings in Glendale, Jim Hoag in Canoga Park or Alan Tanaka in Gardena. These three have solid reputations. Good luck.
