Well, he's a shoe-in for this year's Richard Jewell award.

Perhaps we ought to defend him, since they haven't charged, let alone convicted, him yet. Pretty convenient how they always leak the name of someone whom the alphabet gang won't even call a "suspect," at least by that name. "Person of interest," give me a break! That's pretty damned PC of them.

 :barf:

DC metro police gave him the ticket.

Essentially, he was jaywalking and impeding the flow of traffic.

Stupid for him to be given a ticket under the circumstances, but it happened.

Reminds me a lot of the security guard who was all but convicted by these guys and the press for the olympic park bombing.

Remember when they were wanting to "question" Rudolph?, Yeahhh, righttt ! !

I think they gave up looking for Eric. I don't know what the fuss was. They said he bombed an abortion clinic and a gay night club. Wonder what he did that was wrong ? ?

Does that mean he didn't do those things, or does that mean it wasn't wrong?

Didn't the driver who hit the guy flee the scene? Wouldn't that make it a "hit & run" REGARDLESS of who was at fault?

If I read your post correctly, Winwun, you're coming seriously close to advocating murder based on political believes.

You may never have heard of them, but the Pink Pistols are active here.

I also love the logic that the abortion clinic bombers use. We're willing to kill to preserve the sanctity of life.

Funny thing about it is, I can't remember the last time that an abortion clinic doctor bombed a church...

What would have been the response if Hatfill would have fallen to the ground, screamed bloody murder, asked to be taken to the hospital, and finally demanded that action be taken against the driver of the vehicle which hit him and then drove away?

If there would have been some question as to why he was approaching the vehicle in traffic with a camera he could have pointed out that the vehicle had been following him all day and he wished to document who was driving.

By the By, isn't hitting someone with a vehicle, like a car, considered Assualt with a Deadly Weapon?

"By the By, isn't hitting someone with a vehicle, like a car, considered Assualt with a Deadly Weapon?"

Maybe, maybe not.

Was the INTENT of the FBI agent to hit Hatfill, or just to drive away? If the agent wanted to run over his foot, then it's a lot closer to ADW. If he was just trying to move away and Hatfill stepped in front of the car, then Hatfill is at fault.

Just as it is illegal for a car to hit a pedestrian, it's also illegal for a ped. to put himself into a position where he/she can be hit.

As HankB noted, isn't HIT AND RUN against the law, It used to be, unless there is a previously unpublished exception for the FAN BELT INSPECTORS

Right. Advocating the destruction of abortion clinics and gay nightclubs, all in the same sentence.

This one is done.

Lights out.
