Sweet! How does it mount?

You remove the bead sight and it mounts with a set screw. the stripe at the rear is a "glow in the dark" sight.

A shotgun has to have a thin bbl in order to be light enough to be usable. Consequently, they use very quick powder that burns in the first few inches of bbl so they can get away with the extremely thin walls in the rest of the length. I would say it is more of a tactical addition than a practical one. There ain't much flash on a scattergun, imho.

plus, you now don't have a front sight.

Actually I've seen shotguns have negligible to impressive muzzle flash from what is supposedly the same ammo. Not certain what the explanations might be. As for a sight, I wonder if you could mount a Ghost Ring front behind the flash hider...

or a shortened GR front ON the flash hider.

Ahh.

Well I guess it's out then. I have a ghost-ring front blade sight on my 590.

Oh well.

I kinda wonder what it would be good for. Flash typically doesn't bother the operator unless it tells the bad guys where you are or you have NVGs on. If your shooting a shotgun at night i would imagine its close in shooting in which case they can find you right behind the big BOOOM machine.
