i have a chance to buy a mossy 835 for 125.00 are these good guns for this money?

They sell new for twice that plus some change. If it's in good shape, and it fits you, it would be a good buy. I added the fit criteria in there b/c I used to have one and it was just a little too long in the LOP and reach to the pump for me.

picked it up today no rust at all it is a 24 inch ported barrel, and a set of fiber optic turket sights. and a undertaker turkey choke. seems like a nice gun, i hope it preforms as good as it looks.

Good shotgun, very good price. However....
Probably the reason it was for sale was the previous owner touched off a couple 2 oz loads in it. The 835 is rather light for the big loads.Recoil of the magnitude of a 416 Rigby is not fun.
Start off with some target loads, please.

only gonna use it as a turkey gun, hopefully wont have to shoot it too many times. im a pretty big guy so i should be alright. thanks.
