What is generally the biggest gun show in Dallas? I see that they have them at Dallas Market Hall, Amon Carter, and Big Town. I will be driving from Lubbock and want to attend the one with the most general firearms and ammo tables. I promised my 8 year old son I would take him to a "big" gun show somtime. The ones in Lubbock are pretty weak.

Thanks!!!

I have been to 2 shows at Market Hall, and they were great. About 20X bigger than the shows in my neck of the woods in north Louisiana. Lots of good guns. Huge floor area.

www.dallasarms.com is the site for that show. There is a photo of the show at the site to give you an idea of howm any tables there are. It shows only part of the room.

If you are in Dallas, stop by Jackson Armory to see some cool guns. It's a small but classy shop near the SMU campus. It is packed with everything from $150 milsurps to guns that go for over $25,000. www.jacksonarmory.com They have a room full of nothing but top-end shotguns. Well worth a visit.

Any reviews on the shows in Mesquite, just east of Dallas at the old Big Town Mall? I have been thinking about making a run over for one of those shows.

+1 on the Market Hall show. Was the first one I went to upon moving to the Dallas area and I thought it was pretty decent. Wasn't as large as I thought but plenty of vendors. Ammo prices are decent, haven't really spotted any decent prices on guns though. I'm not the haggler type so I go by the sticker.
