Hi'ya - new member..

I've got a couple of extra 12ga. pumps and wanted to turn one into a HD rig.. Basiclly, I'm looking for a pistol grip or folding stock setup for either gun.. Both are in good shape and shoot well.

I wondered if anyone could tell me if these are close enough to the standard brands/models that they sell the parts for.. I think the most common are the Mossberg 500s, Remington 870s, etc..

I've got an older
Montgomery Ward - "Wards Western Field Deluxe" Model 60.

and a
Springfield "Eastfield" Model 916

Got any idea where I could get a pistol grip or folding stock for either of these?

tia!

Welcome aboard, Far.

The Wards gun is an aliased Stevens 520, a serviceable shotgun. The Springfield is not well regarded.

Neither is something I'd bet my family's well being on.

Good defensive shotguns are neither scarce nor prohibitively expensive. Get a Big Four pump and learn it.

Also, folding and PG only setups are more for the movies. Get a standard stack unless you've some rather odd storage issues....
