Official Pistol Bashfest Thread

1911Tuner's idea as to not take other threads off-topic. You want to bash a gun then do so here. Lets just keep it civil;)
Glocks do have a following. They were the first truly successful pistol with a plastic frame. They usually have half the parts of most pistols. All of this still doesn't make them any more dependable than any other high quality pistol. The cycle speed of the Glock is just too fast to reliably digest a magazine that's been left fully loaded for several years. There's no way a Glock can reliably digest a fully loaded magazine that's not broken in, you'll end up getting a bullet jammed against the feedramp:neener:

Every pistol ever made sucks. If you shoot with many other people, you'll see 'em all jam, eventually.

Please look at the top of this forum. There's a no "hate/bashing" sticky on the top of this forum. However "civil" it starts will end up into a 1911 vs. Glock, 9mm vs. 45, SIG vs. HK suicide thread.

I only started it because 1911Tuner who's a moderator suggested it.

Race guns and race ammo. They drop more points then they add. I run stock guns with the ammo they were meant to run with the and the magazines they were meant to run and I am tied for number 1 reliability wise at local matches. You can't do better then zero malfunctions.
What is the point in buying equipment to improve your score when there is a stock division that allows you to forgo it all and spend more time shooting and less time field smithing.

That's true about race guns. You do need to replace parts alot.

Phenom, I feel you must have misinterpreted something 'Tuner said or wrote.
For those who correctly cited the "No Hate Threads" policy, thank you for trying.
CLOSED.
