I have been looking for a nice 10mm for a while now, and I decided that I really like the Colt Delta Elite.
In doing some research on it I found references to frame issues. Something about cracking, I think.
Can anyone tell me about this particular type of firearm? Are there any issues to be aware of when purchasing?
Can anyone suggest another nice 10mm? I'm not too interested in the Glock 20 as it doesn't fit my hands very well. Nothing against Glocks otherwise, though.

Check this out for all of the info you need http://www.geocities.com/mr_motorhead/10tech.html
You'll want to specifically look at section IV.
Otherwise, Dan Wesson makes some nice 10mm's and Kimber has one available to. In DA/SA you can pick up S&W 10mm's and EAA Witness'.

I had some "issues" initially with mine. Mine is one of the post-modification frames, so no frame cracking problems. However, I initially had pretty bad reliability problems and problems with parts falling off (no kidding - the spring plunger tube fell off completely and the front sight worked iteself floppy loose).
I sent mine to Novak's for a reliability job, new sights, and replacement of the plunger tube. The gun has been mostly reliable since then, but still not to the level I would consider it as a carry gun. It is fun as a range gun, but I don't have total confidence in its reliability for carry.
