They are generally considered as junk, at least the HK ones. You get what you pay for. What gun are they for?

I've got a couple 13 rounders for a SIG P228. I had originally gotten them for use as range mags, and they work very consistently. By that I mean that every time I try to get off more than a few shots at a time, the gun jams. With MECGAR or SIG OEM mags, the gun runs flawlessly.

Their BHP mags are crap.

"You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for." For my money, I'll stick with Mec-Gar.

Bought a couple for my Sig p229. Caused nothing but jams. Threw them in the trash at the range.

I ProMag in my Walther P5 (mostly because it is the only option) and they have performed very well with no malfunctions.

I've generally heard that the pistol mags are junk and that the rifle magazines are okay.

The only experience I have are my 9mm AR mags (10 of them) and they work 100% but dont always hold the bolt open on the last round. My friend has a 10 rder for his mini 30 and it works 100% from what I have seen as well.

Pro Mags are pretty much universally crap. A friend had one that I tried to use with my magazine inserts for my AR15 M261 .22 conversion kit. It didn't even work with those so we ended up throwing the mag downrange and shooting it. That's about all they're good for.

The 3 15-rounders I bought years ago for my CZ-75B Military model work just fine. This was back when they first started clearing out the Turkish-contract overruns for $349 or less, so I don't know the current quality of their CZ mags.

I have Pro-mags for my Sig P229 and they suck too. I filed a bit of metal off of the mag catch slot and they seem to work better, but they're only for range action.
