I'll be loading for 30-06. Press is Redding Boss. Dies are Lyman.

My other presses are Dillon SD and MEC. But both those have built-in powder throwers.

So I'll need a quality powder thrower.

Is it always necessary to use trickler with the thrower, or are some powder dispensers super accurate?

thanx.

I use a Uni-Flo. It is OK. What I covet is a Belding and Mull. (http://cgi.ebay.com/Belding-Mull-Powder-Measure-NR-Micrometer-Box_W0QQitemZ320048675478QQihZ011QQcategoryZ71119QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

For me at least, best = Harrell's.

I have two of their Classics, I use one for BP and another for smokeless. They're a first class operation and their measures are awesome. They don't take CCs and when I ordered mine I asked if they wanted a check or MO. They replied that they'd send the measure, and if I liked it, to send them a check, if not just send back the measure.

Really great folks, that make a really great powder measure.

I've got a Harrells also. The absolute smoothest operating powder measure on the planet.

Sinclair sells a groovy little stand that is adjustable and removable if you're so inclined. Worth the money in my book.

Ed,

Yup, I've got the groovy little stand too! It's rock solid and like all the other Sinclair stuff well-made.
