i don't have a link for it, but i've seen on the news and some other places that they're using Metallica, Drowning Pool, etc. and Barney the purple dinosaur songs on prisoners in Iraq who won't give up information. They said they've never heard it before and they "can't take it" I love you, you love me....

Don't let the news leak out, or Metallica will sue for unlicensed use! Coincidently I think Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It was used to roust Noriega.

Actually, they used to play classical music in a particularly bad ghetto in a city where I once worked. It seems the drug dealers and prostitutes cared little for the work of Europe's musical greats and the fine orchestras of Western civilization.

After 2 or 3 choruses [chorusi ?] of that Barney song...well lets say that should be enough even to make Osama "roll over"

Seriously, folks, the only jam I ever had with my VCR was when a guy I worked with wanted me to tape a few episodes of Barney for his kids.

The story's true. They're using it to get barricaded fighters to surrender.

Make them watch the Teletubbies. Watching that stuff makes my blood boil. I can only imagine what it would do to some prisoners.

From the stories I hear, NOT personal experience, if you really want to cause 'em "mental meltdown" go to the sleaziest porn places in San Francisco and find some really, seriously freaky stuff. I mean...ye GODS, the *really* sick stuff I can't even describe on here . And no, I don't mean plain ol' gay/lez stuff, there's WAY worse out there :shudder:.

The Scots used Bagpipes all the time during war. The English got so uppety, that they banned them under the catch-all phrase 'weapon of war'.

The English government hasn't changed much at all since then.

Actually, they literally haven't changed. Pipes still are legally weapons there. Not regulated the same way as other weapons, though.

I'm a piper...I know all about musical warfare. :D

Musical warfare? That's hardly novel. I engaged in it with my parents and it wasn't an original thought even to them as they had warred with their parents. :D

Wanna torture someone? Just play some accordian heavy Tejano music on a loop.
