200 bucks is WAY expensive for most of the major retailers. Unless you're talking a Norinco or Russian.

Varying degrees of conditions the most expensive of which is 150$. That is for Yugos though... but they 'are' an SKS.... get yourself a C&R (check my sig) and they come right to your door.

I just picked up an excellent condition Yugo SKS from my FFL yesterday that I had shipped from Aim. It was $149, and w/ a $10 hand pick fee, shipping, and a $25 ffl transfer fee it came to $197.

It's flawless, nearly new, with only one minor ding in the gas tube wood handguard. AIM also has "very good" condition Yugos for $109.

Samco is one of the only places I have found that still has "unissued" Yugos, you might want to check with them if you want one of those. If it's just an excellent or very good shooter you want, go with AIM.

Won't do you much good since you're in SC but up in this area (Michigan) the local Dunham's sporting goods store has been running sales on the Yugo 59/66: $100 retail.

Last I checked, they had knock-around shooter's grade ones for under $100.

I am a Manager at a Dunham's store, and our service grade 59/66 yugo sks rifles go down to 100 bucks at the cheapest. Or you can get a collector grade as low as 120. But let me warn you, the collectors grades are by a different importer from the service grade, and thats the only difference. Out of about 100 service and collectors rifles I have seen at my store and others in the area, the service grades are almost always in better condition, with better blueing and less damage to the stocks. You will get lucky with any of the stores, and find a really nice conditioned sks rifle in one of those grades. My service grade sks rifle i bought at my store for 100 bucks is in perfect condition, and I have only seen a collectors grade match this perfection once.

I live right up the road from J&G Sales, I think someone already mentioned them on this thread. They always have SKS's for under $150 and they are always in good shape, I stop in there on a weekly basis. They do a lot of business over the phone and online, I reccomend them.
