With the great weather in Southern NM, hard to pass up going out shooting and having some fun. Having lived in northern Indiana, I know how difficult it is to find good days, especially with winter approaching. This is the best stress-reliever since “you know what….”:p
From the Paladin Shooting program, my take on a “Dead Time” scenario where you have 2 perps & an innocent bystander. However, I use 3 nasty psycho’s and you have 2 seconds for each perp taking a lateral 1st step (crucial when there is no cover) on each target, taking out the most imminent threat first while striking in the K-zone. The targets are placed at 3, 4 & 8 yds….If you miss any, you are DEAD on the SPOT!
I use an F.B.I. crouch point shooting at close range and take a 2-hand kneel for the longer target. Being 6’3”, I try to reduce myself as a target while achieving excellent balance. Any missed shots at the upper torso or head will give the bullet trajectory an upward path reducing a hit on innocent bystanders….
My .45 Sistema is customized inside & out by Tripp Research, Alpine, Texas…..

Middle one looks like Kathy Bates from "Misery".

The one on the right looks a lot like Mr. Rojas, one of my Little League coaches from way back in the day. I guess he just snapped. Sad to see, really.

Lookin' good, Magyar! That drill of yours sounds pretty stressful... And those are some nice grips on that Sistema of yours - very unique! Never seen anything quite like them.

What kind of holster is that, may I ask?

Yep, those target caricatures are good for a laugh...I have about 7 different ones, will post the others in the future...
Thanks C.Mike, I customized some plain, smooth wood grips with some mature Ostrich skin, great for a secure grip & recoil dampening....
The holster is a Gould & Goodrich Yaqui belt slide, with my custom touch of Ostrich skin....
