My local shop has had one of these things in the display case for a couple of years now (9mm). The .40 and .45 were sold way back. The barrel has rust marks on it from lack of in-store care. Anyway he's asking for about $375 :scrutiny: . Is is worth it, and just who makes this thing anyway, its not CZ-USA.

Howdy!

First, you're correct the TT is NOT made by CZ-UB nor imported by CZ-USA. It was imported by ADCO, but no longer.

My understanding is that the TT was assembled in the Czech Republic by the company that used to make CZ motorcycles and waaaaay back the CZ 52 military pistol. If I remember correctly, the parts are Tanfoglio and the TT is very similar if not identical to one of their models.

I would NOT purchase one unless it was darn near free. I would guess that there are no parts or service available for it and if you would ever need work done I'd doubt that your local gunsmith would mess with it.

That thing is uuug-lee, and I don't see what it can do that buying a Tanfoglio or Baby Eagle couldn't.

Way too expensive. CDNN was blowing them out well under $300 when ADCO dropped them.
