Since this pistol came out, I have had my eye on it. I thought, some day I will own one.

I got one this weekend, and was able to shoot it at deer camp today.

I am, so far, in awe of this pistol. The ergonomics of the gun are simply amazing. It becomes an extension of your gripped hand.

Everything is well thought out in the design-- from the grip contours to the levers and buttons to the serrated trigger guard face.

I won't go into a detailed report of the firing, since the results were fairly standard for this gun, and I only put 42 rds through it. I put most rds through a 12-pack box at 50 paces, my first time firing it.

The gun has great looks to it. Tactical but handsome. It has beautiful heft and nice balance.

It's been 10 yrs since I have owned or fired a 9mm. I wanted to add one to my collection for a few yrs now, and I firmly believe I have chosen the right one.

If you are in the market for a non-polymer "full sized compact" 9mm, you cannot go wrong with this one. I look forward to filling it out with some Hakan grips and seating it in a nice leather holster.

Any opinions on a nice leather holster for this very fine handgun?

Jeff;

If you're looking for a concealed carry type holster, it's pretty hard to beat the stuff from Milt Sparks. If it's a sportsman's type, see Idaho Leather Works, also in Boise. I've got an Idaho Leather that's still a fine piece of work that I bought for a Blackhawk in the early to mid 70's.

also look at the CZ PCR; same gun minus the rail, making it thinner

2300 rounds through mine with no cleaning or lube, 2 consecutive failures to feed due to a bad magazine. Damn good gun. About the size of a Glock 19, but MUCH better ergonomics, and the Kadet .22LR conversion is nice too.

They are GREAT. I shoot the cheapest crap I can find, and have NEVER had a failure.
