Has anyone here tried made in Italy fiocchi buckshot? Specifically, I'm talking about the high velocity SG buck loading. Product code: 86 3629

How does it compare to comparable loads from remington or winchester?

The only Fiocchi buckshot I have tried is the 2.75" low-recoil 00 9-pellet load with nickle-plated pellets, catalog number 12LE00BK. It's the softest-kicking buckshot I have used so far, stated velocity is 1150 FPS. It patterns well out of several of my shotguns and I would recommend it for recoil- shy shooters.

Fiocchi I am quite familiar with.

12HV00BK Buckshot Is a very very good load.
Remember each shotgun is different - so pattern your gun.
That said my experiences with this Nickel Plated loading is HIGHLY positive, and thru a variety of various shotguns, bore diameters, choke constrictions...etc.
Back in the day, I used to also buy the Fiocchi components and reload - I really really really like their nickel plated shot - no matter what shot size.
Never messed reduced recoil. I would trust Fiocchi , even having not tried them.
Lee's experience and others like his, confirmed what I thought.
[I suggested folks try this load - they did based on my recommendation based my other Fiocchi experiences]

I have not tried the Fiochi, but I did buy some of the PMC #4buck, made in Italy by Clever srl. In my 870, it patterns as good as the Remington I was using. The velocity is 1325 fps.
