Just wanted to let you all know that I got to fire three rounds out of a custom-built revolver chambered it this beast of a bullet. Totally awesome experience. Thoroughly recoilicious.

Even though it was a heavy frame, heavy barrel, scoped and magnaported, that thing kicked like nothing I've ever seen.

Now I'm just gonna have to try the 500 when I get a chance at one. Unbelievably fun!!!

Wow, I want to try that monster. Biggest caliber I've shot out of a handgun was a Lone Eagle in .444 Marlin. Waitin' for the S&W 500 to come around :D

two rounds from a .475 satisfied my curiosity, but, i aint been young and tough for decades. but, dang, it was a Gun.

I have 3 Freedom Arms chambered in .475 Linebaugh. I have a 4.75" barrel on one, a 6" octagon barrel on another and a 7.5"on one as well.
If link works it should be a video clip of me shooting my 5.5" barreled Clements .500 Linebaugh with a stff load.
