Looking for binoculars that instant focus, and I was looking at the Steiner Police model. They are 10x50, self focusing, waterproof, and rugged, and I've heard great thigns about them. Botach just sent out an email with them priced at $329, how is this price?

(and btw, i know about botach, just want to know about the price and binoculars, not about how shady their business is..heh)

I'll be using these for duty use, and for sky watching, and just regular use...

Any better bang for the buck binoculars? or a best source for Steiners? Or a better steiner for the job?

Are they factory refurbished? Take a look at SWFA's specials page. They list the 10x50 military marine factory refurbs for $299.
