The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has been, for a least four years, claiming that they have become middle-of-the-road.

We can expect more anti-2nd Amendment propaganda, especially cartoons depicting gun owners as sub-humans, criminals, crazies, extremists, etc.

I find it very hard to believe that the AWB will sunset.

Anyone want to bet?

I agree, we will se an avalanche of anti-gun press. However, I sincerely hope that the recent revelations about Big Media has given the voting public adequate reason to take what is said with a large helping of salt.

Secondly, the last time this was up for a vote, the internet as we know it today didn't exist. The people who matter this time around are much more informed, now that Big Media no longer has a monopoly on the public discourse.

Watch the AWB debate because it will show how policy is influenced and manipulated in the US. We can look forward to 18 months of lies, deception, half truths, and demogogary. We will see how sophisticated propaganda is dished up and we'll also see how inept the RKBA side is. We will see how the democrat party and big media tag team to affect social policy. Politicians will tell the media types what they want to do in terms of regulation and law and ask media to place stories which support an initiative about to be launched. Politicians will then use the just placed story as justification for new restrictions about the be proposed. Stories will then appear which demonstrate what just happened because the provisions were not currently in place.

Advertising Age magazine ought to make the forthcoming debate a case study is creating a problem and then offering a non-solution.
