Mag. "adjustment" question

Please look at the photo. The magazine on my Mustang has a hard time with a hollow point loat that I use in my other .380. The lip of the top front edge of the magazine is "in the way" by about .030" - .050". Do you think that I can remove that much material and still have the magazine function properly? Or can/should I bend the lip? When the magazine is in the gun there seems to be a gap of about .075" between it and the ramp.

Thanks much
Steve

I would suggest that you take the spring out of the mag and bend the top coil up a little to keep the top round from nose diving into the mag body. Cutting on the mag is a last resort.
