I just purchased this new P7M8 and need to find a a good holster that would conceal it well. I am a physician working in the ER and need good coverage. I think an inside the pants holster would work well.
I would like to hear from P7 owners to know what holsters they are using. All inputs appreciated.

Gary Brommeland's Max Con V www.brommelandgunleather.com would probably suit your purposes very well. He is one of the most highly regarded Holstersmiths and the Max Con V, which is available in Presentation and Service grades, is one of the most highly regarded and utilized holsters.

I have tried several off the shelf holsters and a few customs for my P7. After trying them all out I settled on a Milt Sparks Versa Max II. I like my VMII so much that I purchased them for all my carry firearms.
Do a search and you will find many raving reviews for Milt Sparks gear and the VMII in specific.

You don't wear scrubs in the ER?

Yes, but I also have a private practice and wear dress pants and shirts tucked in. So i need one that would fit both styles. I am sure concealing with scrubs would be a lot easier. Maybe I need a a couple styles. One for for baggier clothers, and maybe an ankle holster?

Rafter S Gun Leather. It is fantasticlly made, was about $80 in black sharkskin and works great for my P7.

Del Fatti makes some of the nicest quality holsters for the HK P7M8.
Check out www.lightningarms.com for Del Fatti, Alessi and Milt Sparks holsters for a P7M8.

Out of the idlest of curiosity, is it legal for an ER MD to carry in the ER? Forget the ankle holster. Too hard to get at in a hurry.

In scrubs an ankle would probably be the fastest since you have no support for a belt and would have to use soime kind of smart carry or belly band underneath. bu it would best suit a j-frame revolver...the P7 is way to big for comfortable all day ankle wear.
