Back in '95 I sold the one I had bought in '89. Always regretted it, though I was never really motivated to replace it. Yesterday I saw a NIB (unfired) Italian (1990) model and it sucked me right in. I mean, it was only a month or so ago that I put the (polymer) ivories on my only Beretta, a Stampede. Now look what I done!

I really like my 92FS. It's a very reliable gun.

Those grips really dress up that 92FS.
I love mine...soft-shooting, accurate, and nice to look at. A classic design.

I just bought my first 92. Brand new and I like it a lot, even though I used to swear I'd never have another 9mm. It shoots completely reliably and very accurately. It's a good gun. Where did you get those grips? I like 'em!!!

Congrats Frandy, that Italian made 92FS is a beauty!
Seems like you're happy with a purchase. Now go drop a D-spring in that thing!

The Stampede grips are Ajax grips and they needed a lot of internal and some exernal fitting.
The "ivorylights," were on the 92FS when I bought it. I'd never seen these grips before other than in Wilson's book The World of Beretta shown on a 92FSEL that was made for the Beretta Gallery in New York.
These two photos show the 2 medalions.
I love the Beretta "ivorylights" that came on the gun, but now that I took the photos to enjoy, I'm retiring these grips (might even sell them). Just picked up my favorite rubber panels, Butler Creeks. They feel great! I shoot this Beretta for the first time Saturday. :D
