Anyone do front strap checkering. prefer the dayton , Ohio area
but not a must.

Don't snicker, but the Wilson Combat Checkered Front Strap that fits over the frame( it's realy thin) and under the grips works just great for me. You can risk $10 and get one from Brownell's #965-100-001.
