I have a couple of questions about the grip.

I once owned an SP101 and liked the factory grips except for the way the space just under the trigger gaurd is exposed. Couldn't stand that so I ended going the Hogue route. I notice the SRH has the same problem. :(

What I'm wondering is if changing the SRH's grips out from factory to Hogue added any distance to the trigger reach? With these stubby fingers I can't afford any extra trigger reach.

Any small handed shooters out there come up with a better grip for the SRH?

Lastly would someone like to post some decent pics of SRHs..especially with after-market stocks?

have a .44 SRH that i changed grips out to Hogue. if the reach is more/less, i have not noticed. would change them back and forth to be more specific, but, the changeout is not a simple one, so
pardon me if i do not. my hands are about average: size 9 glove.

the Hogue grips are more narrow. this could make up for the lack of long fingers. disclaimer: i like Hogue grips on most stuff. YMMV

I'm a Hogue fan too...atleast with open-back strap models on S&Ws. Since the SRH doesn't have a back-strap to keep open I wasn't sure how that would work!

I have small hands and I find the stock grips very comfortable. I have handled the Pachmayer fingerless grip and it is similar in size to the stock, maybe that would fit you. They also make a finger groove model which is larger.HTH

The stock grips do fit my hand I just don't like the way they leave a bit of metal exposed under/behind the trigger gaurd. I like that part covered like the Hogues (and most other rubber stocks) do.
