The ammo you mentioned should work just fine. Buy a bunch of different brands and shoot them all. Then you can tell us which one your gun likes the best.:)

What ammo would y'all recommend for 9mm commander, I was thinking about cor-bon 124G powerball +p ??......also if I may ask what does the T mean in TMJ.....Thanks
the ammo that you are comfortable shooting, reliable in your weapon, and shoots good out of your weapon. i am sure the ammo you described will be fine, but i would test out a whole bunch of brands as possible and see which fits you and the gun the best. happy shooting.
Tmj, basically means that the whole bullet is covered by the jacket, unlike some rds where the base of the bullet is exposed.
btw thanks for the link that is a good reference tool in the future.

you'll find this gem:
The last one here is also fondly known as:
which stands for: Evil Baby-Killing Death-Dealing
Emergency-Room-Surgeon-Finger-Shredding Crime-Causing Flesh-Ripping
Innocent-Bystander-Search-and-Destroy eXploding Tearing Maiming End-of-
Life-As-We-Know-It Thermo-Nuclear Black Talon
which, due to an unfortunate corporate decision, was the name that these
particular bullets got instead of the name 'Winchester Safety Blossoms'
suggested by Chris Luchini (rec.guns Tue Nov 23 1993).
I think Gecko45 hand loads these!:D

ok that sounds good, I guess I was wondering if 124G was heavy enough, I've been told that 1911's made in the 80's were set up for FMJ, and their is a feed problem for some JHP, thats why I was thinking of powerball, which should take care of that problem?? By the way is there anybody out there with any info on Randall original 9mm mags:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
