FFL Question

Is there normally any problem from buying a firearm from an individual and having them send it to my FFL? I've usually only done FFL to FFL transfers, but this guy says my FFL needs to take it from an individual in this case.
Thoughts?

Whether or not your FFL will accept a firearm shipped from a non-FFL is up to him, not the shipper. There is no federal law requiring FFL to FFL (except handguns via USPS) shipments, but more and more dealers are refusing to accept transfers from non license holders.

It's perfectly legal, but some FFL's will only receive from another FFL. Trying to keep everyone in business I guess. In other words check with your recieving FFL first, they may not ant to recieve from individuals.

Or Federal Firearms Licensee, depending on the context.
