HOOAH! I'm in the process right now of ordering a stripped lower receiver from RRA, just got a signed FFL copy to send to them so i can get one shipped.

Now is the time for a lower parts kit.

Ignoring money completely, which one would you take if offered all three? I can't really figure out the difference.

This is going to be for plinking, HD, and SHTF (like if that AW ban passes!:banghead: )

On a side note, before i place my order... Has anybody done business with Sable Co?

It depends who's paying for the kit. If they all magically appeared and a genie said "Pick one" I'd get the bushmaster. The thing is though, I could get a new complete Bushy rifle for about $40 LESS than a Bushy parts kit, any stripped lower, and transfer fees (with local prices it would be $790 vs. $750, if I snagged the rifle at a gunshow).

Some people say that you should try to match the manufacturers of your lower and your parts for best performance. Maybe thats your best bet, but I'm not sure what the RRA kit costs compared to the others.

check out www.AR15.com or the Maryland AR 15 Shooters site.

I have dealt with SableCo, I ordered a stripped AR15 bolt from them, had it very soon thereafter. Their prices are more than fair and customer service is good.

On the kits, I don't think it matters, since most of the small parts come from the same 1 or 2 manufacturers anyway...

But with a RRA lower, I'd want a RRA upper, even though that's not what you asked :)

Sableco is EXCELLENT to deal with, and I get most of my AR stuff there.

If/when I go for my next AR project, it will all come from Sableco.

Buying from Sableco, complete upper, parts lower, you can finish off your project for under $600 :D
