How does the rear stock come off an 1100?

Egads!
I know how to pull the 870 stocks. I do it all the time but the 1100 is a mystery to me. There looks like some sort of funky bolt head or something under the screw and collar that I already removed.
Does this unscrew or what? Do I need a special tool?
Help.
