Are any still out there for sale? If so where and for how much?
Seem like pretty neat little guns.
Thanks
Matt

CDNN is/was selling them along with the M series. Pretty good prices too. The M series were going for $299. The S series was slightly more ($30-40 more?). I'm told they still have the M9's but not sure about the S series.
Some folks think they're unsafe though. Do a search on THR and TFL for more info. Some pretty heated debates but good info. Both sides have good points IMHO.

Davidson's (http://www.galleryofguns.com/gungallery/index.asp) has some S40's in stock. Steyr has a new importer (http://www.usasteyr.com/). You may want to contact it about the S9.

The only drawback to the S series for me is my big paws, and I don't know of any magazine finger extension a la the Glocks out there. Maybe someone else knows more?
Don't be afraid of the .40 in this frame...you will think you are shooting a hot 9mm.

I have not shot the S series...but I own an M9, and my brother an M40....excellent, reliable, cheap and accurate...love it...my current favorite pistola.
The latest CDNN catalog shows them for 339....but that is for the S40....they do not seem to have the S9....
go to www.cdnninvestments.com and download the latest catalog...after buying from them, I dont think I will ever buy off the shelves of a gunstore again...except of course for those rare awesome deals.

arinvolvo,
I have an M9 as well. It does not work reliably with Sellier & Bellot ammunition. The usual problem is a failure to extract the case from the chamber; sometimes the slide does not close completely. Have you tried S&B in your M9?

nope...no S&B....has been flawless with WWB, Winchester personal protection, Corbon 125 +p, and RCBD performance ammo.

Thanks guys
I really dont see the safety issue. Maybe I'll find one at the next gun show.

And I will call both of you jerks.:neener:
I love it when people call them clips....because after years of hearing it like that in the movies, it is always what I WANT to call them, even though I catch myself, and use the word "magazine"....which I consequently have to explain to non-gunnies.
me: "Magazine....you know, the CLIP?"
non-gunnie: "Ohhhhhhh...the MAGAZINE, gotcha."
