What kind of night sights would you recomend for a Glock 22. i was thinking about the TRU-GLO TFO's but they are expensive. I also thought Mepro looked good. But i am not really sure. Also how would i go about mounting the sights, do i need to buy the glock sight mounting tool?

I'd recommend Trijicon or Meprolight
I took mine to a gunsmith for install on the 23 and the other 2 came with factory Trijicons.

I have XS Bigdots of my 1911 as it's a nightstand gun and I can focus on the front sight without my glasses on it. I also just put Mepro's on my Kahr PM9 as that's all I could afford at this point. They both work good, but honestly I think I like the Big Dot's better.

best combat night sights available in my opinion. I had an XD40 w/ these sights on them and they were far better than the 3-dot trijicon sights I had on my Kahr PM9 or the Meprolights I had on my Glock 19. The two in-line tritium bulbs make a HUGE difference vs. the 3-dot setups for fast target acquisition at night. Also, they are spectacular sights to begin with. The slant design helps reduce glare in addition to the horizontal serrations on both the front and rear sight that also reduce glare. The front blade width is a perfect match for the rear notch width too. My favorite sight by far... i'm actually hoping i can find a way to modify a set of these sights to work with two Walther P99s I am getting, but I'm not sure that it's even possible.
The Heinie sights also look good too...especially on XDs and Glocks because they have a wide flat-top slide vs. rounded slides like Sigs and 1911s. They just have a clean look to them when installed.

I like the 3 dot night sight systems from IWI. I'm not sure of the website but you should be able to find it. You can get 2 seperate colors like red-green, orange-green, blue-yellow, etc if you want. I saw another new sight system but they do not sell the "night sight" type tritium sights.

My vote would be for the new TFO trituim/fiber optic sights from TruGlo. They provide excellent visibility in daylight and darkness with trituim inside fiber optic material. You will love them; I know I do.
BTW: I'm a dealer for several different sight companies. If you need any assistance, contact me at lance@laksupply.com. Make sure to tell me that you are from THR, and I will give you a big break over retail. :)

TFO's are probably the best NS out on the market right now! IMO others fail in comparison.

I have Trijicons that came with the gun. If you were going to install them yourself, most likely you need both the front and rear sight tools.

The sight tool does help. Although the sights can be removed/installed with simple tools, the appropriate tool is always best.
