I have a friend who loves his .45 cal HK Elite with the 6" barrel. He'd like to find another, but has been told that they are no longer produced. Does anyone know where he might locate one? THanks.

Check CDNN, they have them in 9mm I think but not sure about them in 45. I do know a shop up here has one, used, in 45. Here's the link. http://www.ktpguns.com/interior.php/pid/28/gid/104594 E-mail 'em and they will send pics.
I considered this one myself but my Elite in 9mm is more than enough for that model for me.
Another route to try is to see if the local dealer has any listed in any of his smaller distributor's brochures. I know I got mine at a really good price from just glancing through a dealer brochure. May have been Bill Hick's but not 100% sure.
