What has been officially announced at this point? (the only thing I've heard about so far is a production Redhawk 4" .44 magnum)

What do you think WILL be made next year by the major manufactures?

NAA should have that little .32 mag completed sometime, maybe, who knows? I'm interested to see how it turns out, not sure I'll be in the market.

FN FNP chambered in .45.

I can't decide whether to buy an FNP in .40 (I usually carry an HK USPc in .40) or wait for the .45 (it would be my first .45).

Or maybe I'll just go for a USP P2000 instead. That would cost more, but would make a nice match for my USPc.

There's the slimmer Glocks, the HK45 and P30 and I'm thinking maybe a new Sig as well. S&W will rehash something else this year with some funcky metal. Oh yay  It's a distributor edition, but the stainless Ruger Bisley in .357 too.

Smith and Wesson has to have something new coming out for their X frame. I'm surprised they haven't come up with something in 30-338 caliber for the X yet. Maybe even a 375 SW Magnum?

Whatever. Sort of like a bug zapper--while everyone is headed for that beautiful blue light (ZAP!:what: ) I just pick up classic old revolvers they ignored:neener: .

This is making me drool. The Bisley is my all time favorite SA Ruger revolver, and the .357 chambering is my favorite revolver round.

Also, the XD compact in .45 looks interesting... my favorite semi-auto round in a platform I like.

Sadly, any handgun intoroduced this year is at least a year from being allowed into the PRK :scrutiny: So, I will get to fester over the fact there are new guns I can't have....again! :banghead:

^Does it really take a whole year to make it on the lame "safe list".

I'm in the same position, stuck in socialist CA.

Word I've gotten is "soon" which means sometime between now and a ouple months. I've guessing late Jan/early Feb myself. Got the other's in this series so when I heard about this one last February I immeadiately put my name on a consec #ed pair. If the funds are there, a third may be added.

I think fairly early next year, the guy who sold Dan Wesson arms to CZ (Bob Serva), will be coming out with his own brand of 1911 pistols called Fusions.

That is one hideous pistol.

You said it...looks like a crappy, half-cocked rip-off of the CZ-75 design.

Er...Do the Turks use guns? Okay....just to be fair, the P-90 is the ugliest sub-machine gun out there, but I wouldn't mind having the rate of fire, if I needed it.
Perhaps this handgun has some redeeming qualities that tame it's lack of lustre. Like interchangable grips, mag-pouch and quick loader, and cheap plastic holster, that come with it. As to how it shoots ::shrug:: Someone will buy it for the holster.

(p.s.: Yes I made a joke about the XD, but it was in good fun, and from all information I've heard, it's a nice piece. So don't think I'm knocking it. I'm just remarking on the sales ploy.)

Er...Do the Turks use guns?

Mostly G3s and MP5s.

Pretty solid military overall, easily the best in that part of the world.

Plus their military has, on several occasions, overthrown democratically-elected but unconstitutional governments. Apparently they're pretty serious about the Turkish equivalent of "support and defend the constitution against against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

That Armalite/Sarsilmaz Kilinc looks like it's related to the SiG P210 ..

Interesting...
I am pulling for all these new things to come out and the more the better...
I do not care how much more plastic, unobtanium metal and if they make 'em exotic ammo - make them suckers

NAA .32 is interesting to me.

Smith is Dropping the K frame - makes about as much sense to me as a brothel not carrying the line that brung 'em ...

Just hoping everyone goes out and buys lots and lot of this new stuff - oh don't forget to get rid of all them old antiquated blue and wood guns like Gov't Models of 1911, them K frame ( discontinued guns ain't worth spit you know) and get rid of them J , N, L frames, Old Colts (they go out of time you know) and ...trade all these in.

Tuner, Fuff , dfarriswheel, and I will give you a $1 each for 'em.

Keep saying when the one picture show houses with balconies closed - the world started going downhill...*sigh*

Who names these guns - they got a Bingo Machine they use for this or what?

Stoeger Cougar, Baretta sold the licensing to build the couger with their equipment to Stoeger Industries in Turkey. Full MSRP will be $350, looks like a good solid gun for that price, should give Taurus a run for the money in the value/performance equation.

The Armalite is a Tanfoglio in a differant form. Tan listed Sarsilmaz as one of thier distributers once, and I believe this is a three way deal, Tan/Sarsil/Armalite.
The slide is reminiscent of the Bren Ten, kinda.

I can dream of CZ-UB offering...a PO1 in 40SW, a CZ75B in 357SiG, a CZ75B in 10mm, and CZ97 in 10mm, or, dream of dreams, an assembly line set up at the CZ/DW plant to produce an inexpensive domestic version of the famed vZ58 rifle. Pardon the drool.
