I am attending the local high school's graduation ceremony tomorrow. It is held in the field house of the Bemidji State University. Public universities are not allowed to restrict visitors from carrying, only students and employees. However, there are restrictions for secondary schools and some school events. Plus, the new shall-issue law is about to take effect. Can anyone tell me what the current set of rules governing carrying at a high school graduation held at a public university would be???

Note: I am NOT graduating tomorrow. Did that once already.

Another note: The new law doesn't take effect until next week, so I am operating under the current (soon to be old) carry law. The new law specifically prohibits carry at school functions, but I'm not sure if the old law does or not.
