Fellows,
I keep a teeball bat in my trunk, just in case I wanna play teeball. :scrutiny:

Thing is, for the longest time it didn't roll around, so I didn't pay any attention to how my trunk was set up. I don't know why, but all of a sudden it's rolling around and smacking into stuff whenever I brake, accelerate or turn. Other things are getting clobbered by it when placed in the trunk and driven around.

I've seen some pretty handy suggestions around here... what do YOU guys do to secure your trunk-bats? If anything?

Could this be the proverbial bat that kills people looking for a target (e.g. guns don't kill people, people do)?

... I drive a '99 toyota camry.

..... Other items in the trunk include a The Club (tm, lol) and two army blankets.

I keep my bat in a bag with a glove and a ball. It makes it that much easier for Officer Friendly to accept that I am a sports enthusiast.:scrutiny:

wrap in the blanket? Wrap it in a windbreaker/spare jacket?

I mounted a tennis racket holder to the frame of my BMX when I was a kid, that held a BB Bat ok, (and a set of 36" bolt cutters:evil: ), try getting one of those.

And a ball and mitt;)
