just heard two loud thuds outiside my window and someone yelling "get down on the ground, now!", took a peek out the window and saw an LEO arresting some kid, from what it looked like they came from the right side where there's a short fence, unfortunately for the BG the other side of the fence is an 8' straight drop (thus the thud). I wasn't too alarmed but my wife was woken up by all the noise and when I turned from the window there she was, wearing nothing but her birthday suit and the mossberg :D

At least she had her priorities straight.

(edit -seeing as how this is my 666th post I should probably make a suggestive comment with my own  to go along with the others. Unfortunately the coffee is still brewing and my brain hasn't turned on enough to think of one  . Rest assured though that if I was awake I would have thought of something similar :D )

Was there life before coffee? :D

Anyways, I guess it's good you didn't have any trouble. But if you had any, your wife would have caused the perp to pause for a little while I bet. ;)

What was that line from "The whole nine yards"?

"There's nothing finer than a fine naked women holding a gun!"

:p

Hope the cop didn't take that drop! He probably knew more about going over fences than the dummy he was chasing, though.

The only problem I see is five minutes after seeing your wife naked with the mossberg, you are posting. I would have been doing something more constructive.

yeah, you should have been checking to make sure there were no obstructions in the chamber/barrel, see if its fully loaded, double check the rifles to see if they are loaded,a nd press check the sidearm just to be safe.

you know, we could majorly hijack this thread by going into the benefits of wearing camo paint on your body when you go to bed. naked flesh sticks out brightly even in the dark. wouldnt want to give away your position to the BG seeing you in your birthday suit. :D

I don't think the cop was hurt, I'm pretty sure he heard the BG take that drop first, he was really mad though.

and yes, my wife did get a few "pats on the back" for being so vigilant. :P

I was a little upset that she grabbed the mossberg though, she's got a perfectly good 870 under her side of the bed.
