Can anyone tell me who manufactures 1911 .45 7rnd mags for Wolff (as in Wolff gunsprings)? I bought a couple and have had excellent results. I would like to know if I can get the same mags under a different (and possibly cheaper)brandname.

Thank you

I imagine they are the same as the Metalform 7rd flattop mags with 11lb Wolff springs. Good stuff.

Actually the Wolff mags are the same as the ACT/Novak mags.

The ones I have seen have are seven-rounders and have a flat, dimpled follower- Not like the ACT mags.

Edited: Was looking them up, and now they have "2nd gen" mags, which do look like ACT mags. Don't know why they would screw up a good thing.

I've got two of the 1st gen mags, and they run 100%. Although I too am at a loss about why they changed the style of their product. Seems to me, an metalform type mag with Wolff springs is just about the ideal product. Of course, I'm just a poor dumb good old boy, and dont know nuthin...

If it works, fix it until it doesn't.

Oh well..
