I got an Eotech last night, and have a bit more time to play with it.
It seems outside, or down a long hallway, the large circle is clear. But, within a small room, the circle gets fuzy - almost like when you put your haand over the sight and its just black. Seems that it needs to have something further away to focus your eye on to make it clear. Is this normal?

The reason the circle and dot get fuzzy, is due to your point of focus. The sight is made to focus at the point of the target and see the dot in your periferial vision. In a small room, you are more than likely not able to make your point of focus far enough away to make the picture clear. Then again, if shooting someone that close, the image does not have to be that clear.
Hope this helps

Normal.
Adjusting intensity will help a little.

Where did you have it mounted on the weapon? How close to the sight is your face? If it's rear mounted and your buttstock is collapsed, this could be part of the problem. Adjust the intensity, and mount the sight (or for a quick reference, push the weapon away from you a tad bit) closer to the front of the weapon. The circle will also appear a little larger too.

When I posted that question, I hadn't even mounted the EOtech yet - I was just holding it. I have it mounted on my PS90 now, and its as far forward as it can get.

And, I've gotten used to it now. And, I see I have to wear my stronger glasses to see it clearly.

Do you have a problem getting a good cheek weld with the optic up that high?
