How does that sound, boy ???? :scrutiny: Dave Phyphor January 6, 2003, 04:07 AM Actually, the characters in King of the Hill live in Arlen, Texas. The show is quite pro-gun, and the writers/artists try to get their gun facts right. There's episodes where they go to firing ranges (one where Hank, the working father, takes his son to a shooting range after he's got his first .22 pump. Another shows Dale Gribble unloading some type of semi-auto on a range. He empties it (the slide actually locks back!) and drops the mag, loading another into it. he then empties it again, and stoops down to get his CCW revolver out of his boot holster (as a plus, the spent brass and empty magazine were visible in the scene too!) It's actually one of the vanishingly small number of Fox shows that shows some sign of intelligence.
