Why?

From my quick overview of that website, it seems the whole purpose of those cartridges are to fit in an AR-15 action. If you're using a bolt-action, why not go ahead and use those same calibers with their original case sizes and get much better performance? :confused:

I was thinking that the full-size rifles in big calibres are very expensive precision instuments, and long and heavy.
