What do you carry

I looked but couldn't find an actual poll for this subject matter...
For those of you that actually CCW at least 80% of the time (LEO on duty doesn't count) what do you actually carry. If you carry more than one gun, go with the one you would carry if limited to one primary.

beretta 92fs.
but according to your poll, I'd pick the same thing whether it was a .22LR NEOX or a mini-couger 8045 or a 92f/fs/g/vertec or a 96.
as soon as I can afford it, I'm getting a springfield compact 1911.

Springy 5' 1911 Parkerized, but she is currently in the hands of Ken the Smith for so repair and upgrades.
So I dusted off my early model Glock 17, now if I could find my @#$%^&** spare hi cap mag I would be happy.

When carrying a full sized then it would be a Browning HP with a Beretta 92 on rare occasions. Normally I don't carry a full sized though. I gotta get me a better IWB holster and lose a couple more pounds.

Sometimes a 1911 (5" .45acp), sometimes a S&W 640 (.38 spl.) or Springfield XD-9. It depends alot on the weather, how I'm dressed, & where I'm going. Generally, the 1911 in winter & 640 in summer.

Just started carrying...
Two choices, working out which works best under which situations:
1) Bulgarian Makarov 9x18mm (8 rnd)
2) S&W 6906 9mm (12 rnd)
Why? Both were cheap to acquire, cheap to maintain, cheap to practice with, and reliable and accurate as hell.
I qualified for my CHL with the 6906 and scored 498 out of 500 on the TX DPS test (admittedly not all that hard, but my score was in the 90+ percentile).
Ok... that last point was pretty well off topic, but I just got my CHL and I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Don't worry - I won't let it go to my head.
Cheers.

I carry a G29 more than any other semi-auto. I occasionally carry a compact 1911 or Sig/Sauer P220.

For a long time I've carried a 5" 1911 but HERESY of HERESIES recently I've been carrying a Ruger P95 (just a couple of weeks).
The 1911 usually resides in a Galco high-ride holster but I've been carrying the P95 in the waistband at the small of my back (I've found it easier to conceal that way with a loose, unbuttoned shirt over everything).

Another vote for the Makarov!
Why didn't you capitalist pigs put Comrade Makarovs fine pistol design on the list? ;)
I guess I'm an "other" kinda guy :(
My Mak is a bulgie, chambered for 9mm Makarov (aka 9X18 ). I carry with my handloads, they are 95 gr Hornady XTPs...

Once again the best is not mentioned. Of course, I am talking about WALTHER. I carry a P99, but am looking into a holster for my P88 compact.
