Just got back from the range and I have nothing but great things to say about my first shotgun purchase, the Franchi I-12. Loaded buckshot and spit slugs. No hiccups.

I haven't fired a shotgun in 9 years and today I put 5 slugs in the black at 25 yards. I couldn't believe it. I am looking forward to hitting some trap over the next week and my foot is tapping until then.

Franchi I-12
12 Gauge - Semi Auto
2-3/4" or 3" shells
28" vent rib - smooth bore
4+1 with dowel removed.

Good to hear. I have a Franchi48 AL that I am found of, looked at the I-12 at a show last year. Nice looking and functional benelli design without the Benelli price. I hope you like it and shoot well at trap. Nothing like shooting 20+ in trap to solidify a relationship with a gun.

Just got back from the range again tonite. Still shooting great. I have maybe 120 rounds through it so far. I really love slugs! Really!

FYI the Franchi I-12 came with 5 chokes from full to open and a nice soft case, although I just purchased a hard case for it tonite.

The I-12 is a beaut!
