Each Factory Certified Pre-Owned Sig Sauer is field stripped, refitted with original factory parts where needed, cleaned and lubricated, function tested and hand-inspected by a certified SIGARMS armorer. Each Factory Certified Pre-Owned Sig Sauer comes with a lockable case, cable lock, all paperwork and a one-year warranty from SIGARMS.

CPO = Certifed Pre-Owned. Basically, it means that the item in question has been thoroughly inspected and reconditioned as needed, usually by the OEM.

In the case of SIGArms, they take police (and other?) trade-ins, completely refurbish them and then resells them through their dealers with the equivalent of a new gun warranty (IIRC, the going rate is approx $500, depending on your dealer). The ones I've seen have been real nice . . .
