I'd like to move up from manual case trimmers to a power unit.

I am mainly considering the Lyman and RCBS.

Anything else would need to be in the same price range.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Mike

I have the Lyman and it has worked great for me. The nice thing is that when I bought it, it came with all the pilots I needed.
I purchased the power adapter and now doing all my varmint cases is a snap...
Also has a universal chuck...

I just put the Lee holder on a $16 cordless drill from Harbor Freight. It works great.

I have the Forster and RCBS manual trimmers.

I'm wanting to upgrade to power because of the volume I want to do.

I'm not really interested in using a drill and adapter.

The RCBS trimmers can use optional 3-way cutter heads, which trim, chamfer, and debur all at once. The time savings can be significant if you're processing a lot of brass. I like the RCBS just because of that.

That's the kind of info I need to make a good decision.

Thanks,

Then I'll have to keep doing it by hand.

I had looked at the Giraud prior to posting. That's why I said that anything else would have to be in the same price range.

I appreciate the thought, but it's more than I'm willing to spend.
