So im browsing for scopes on ebay, confident that I am not going to buy a thing. I see what seems like a nice Weaver scope and I thinks hmmm for that price Ill take it. Well, I bid a little bit, not enough. I bid a little more, and still not enough. So I think to myself, what is the most amount of money Im willing to thow at a scope Im not sure I want and may not work, and I bid that amount and two seconds later its mine for .31 less than my max bid. I guess I only wanted it little bit more than the other guy. Well after the euphoria of buying something wore down I realised that Im not too familiar with the particulars of this scope, anybody know anything about it?

Well, it's a Weaver Medalist rifle scope. :D
Looks like a 3x-9x variable, 32mm - perhaps 36mm - objective lens, and (by the sound of it) a "duplex" style reticle; four thick outer crosshairs intersecting with thin crosshairs in the middle.
Might be a solid trouble free scope at a bargain price, or it might have less than perfect lenses - or internals might come loose after five shots. You won't know til you eyeball it in person, mount and shoot.
Seller describes with specifics everything except the glass and exterior moving parts. Before bidding I would have asked if there is any scuffing, scratches, nicks, chips, stains, cloudiness or fungus (inside) on the lenses. Had they used it (does it hold zero). Do the adjustments work normally, eyepiece and variable adjustment turn smoothly etc.
Still, seller has a 100% happiness rating, I don't think you took a bad risk for the money. But time will tell.

More than anything I want to know if the Medalist is a lower tier or higher tier Weaver scope, as I hear their Marksman scopes are lower.

Not sure myself on that one. Maybe someone else here knows the answer to that one.
