Has anyone here made or is making a bullet for their 58cal huntsman? We are shooting round balls with great groupings, but would like to try something new or different. Anyone have any thoughts or know of a setup that has worked well in your 58? Thanks everyone!

Never made them but i use to buy the 58 cal buffalo bullets for my huntsman ...they were good shooting tight groups ...only problem i had with them was the recoil they produce ...its a good hunting slug though ... real brush busters .

The buffalo bullets i hunted with were the 525 gr per lubed ..came in a box of 20 . I always used 2f goex behind them 75 grs of it . Sighted in at 35 yards 4 inch drop at 100 yards ...all the deer i killed with them were with in the 35/40 yard range ..and they dropped like a truck hit`em .
My shoulder couldn`t take the punishment these days .. i was alot younger when i used the 58 cal .... felt recoil with these heavy bullets is much greater than shooting round ball .Even with reduced charges , these bullets kill on one end and cripple on the other .
