The Russian AM94

Hey all, just curious if anyone is familiar with this weapon. I just watched a special on the history of small arms in Russia where they talk about the AM94 as the ultimate assault weapon. Supposedly a vast improvement over the AK74, it is both recoil and gas operated and each trigger pull sends out 2 bullets almost simultaneously so that your chances of hitting the target improve by 1.6%.

Any info would be appreciated.

Abakan AN-94. Small arms review did an article on that a few years ago, covering the development and so forth. First two rounds cycle at around 1800rpm before it drops to a more typical ~650rpm when the action slides to the rear.
