Favorite CCW Holster?

I've been using a Dillon "Desert Special" inside the waistband holster for several years now. It's ready to be retired, "read worn out", so I'm looking for a replacement. I carry either my 1911 or my HP and cost is a factor in this decision. I know you get what you pay for, but ..........
Any suggestions?

Check out www.fist-inc.com. The prices are reasonable, and my experience with the #20 Adjustable IWB has been excellent. It's currently my primary holster for my daily carry gun, a Colt Commander.

For $30-35, you can get a nice Don Hume holster. Lots of styles, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. That and a good stiff Carhartt belt, and you're all set.

2, hey, Uncle Mel! Great to see someone using Uncle Mel as a sig line. That's fantastic.
Carry a 1911 in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion, keeps weapon tight to body and stable. Whoever you go with buy a belt from the same people.

I use a SafariLand 0701 for my Glock 17, and a Ross holster for my 1911.

I hate to say it, but I've got three that I rotate through depending on circumstances. I'll preface the holster designations by saying that all three holsters ride on a Milt Sparks 1 1/2" sharkskin belt regardless.
First in cost and preference, but somewhat limited use due to not being "easy on / easy off" is a Milt Sparks #60TK. This is the one I wear if I know I won't need to remove it before coming back home.
Next in line if a Blade-Tech IWB. I have both J-hooks and straps and frankly prefer the straps for the "easy on / easy off" feature.
Last in preference for CCW, but probably the most used is, again Blade-Tech, but the paddle holster. This goes on and off alot, and reasonably easy.
I love "moo", but have started to develop a realy appreciation for Kydex. Having said that, I do NOT like the holster or magazine carriers that I have from Fobus. I would NOT recommend them unless you need something right now. That's the only reason I have anything from them.
KyTac Braveheart.
If getting the holster on and off quickly is a consideration, that's a major plus with the Braveheart.

I've got 2 Comp-Tac holsters I rotate with my P229; the Undercover and the Shirt Tucker. I also have a Pager Pal that I use for an assortment of small pistols such as my HsC or the PT111. For the other main carry pistol for winter carry, a BHP, I use a Roy's Original Pancake.
I looked at lots of holsters before I bought one for the P229. Among them were Galcos, Don Humes, and Milt Sparks. All fine holsters, but I like what I have for reasons that are sometimes mysterious even unto myself.

Milt Sparks VMII. I have one for a 1911, but my BHP fits it very nicely.
My G26 goes in an Alessi Watch Six Dual Talon . . . lets just say I like the pistol more than I do the holster.

Milt Sparks VM-II. The thing is a wonder - it hides a full-sized .45 like it isn't even there. It is also very comfortable. I repeatedly challenge my wife to see if I print (esp. before we go out) and, despite knowing exactly where it is it never prints. Oh, except for the time when the outer shirt was laying between the gun and the holster and the butt was there plain as day, but you can hardly blame the holster for that.

I carried in a Bladetech IWB for 2 years, but this thing, distributes the weight across the belt more. Makes carrying my HS2000 with 15+1 rounds feel almost like the PPK/S.
