Epaulet flashlight?

Hi again all, me with more questions ;)

I just got done watching "Silent Hill" for maybe the third time. In it there's a cop character, "cybil"(sp?) who has a neat epaulet flashlight. Reference photo here (http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id=1808718754&cf=pg&photoid=602728)(it's the box hanging off her right shoulder I'm asking about) if you haven't seen the movie.

Anybody know who makes that model? Or, if it was something cooked up just for the movie, has the idea been executed well somewhere besides the ubiquitous G.I. "bent" style flashlight?

TIA.

I haven't seen the movie, but the pic looks as if she is holding a conventional light in her left hand with her wrists crossed.

ok, no. thank you for your help anyway.

again: There is an ungainly black box with a little white panel on it, hanging from her right shoulder, presumably mounted on the epaulet of her uni shirt. It is not on in this pic, but she does use it during the movie.

And you totally *should* see the movie, it's pretty neat. It struck a chord with me as the producer's vision of "hell" was just like these nightmares i used to have...

I have seen German army surplus flash lights.
They ara small gray green box with a button hole tab at the top that can be buttoned there or anywhere.
Right now i don't know of where to get one though.

There's no reason for that huge box to be anything except a radio. If there's a light on the radio, it's just an accessory.

I have one of these ear-clip lights that works pretty good:

I'm sure you already know this, the movie is based on a video game. The light is a prominent feature of the game. As far as I know it is not a production item, but was a prop for the movie.

Incidently, the first game in the series was pretty good. The rest, not so much. This was somewhat an exception to my "no movie based on game" rules, as while it was no oscar candidate, it was in fact creepy as hell.
