I like something around 3 lb.'s for a hunting rifle. That's light enought to be accurate but heavy enough you have to press it to shoot. I shoot a few with heavier pulls, but they are very clean and crisp so it actually feels lighter.

I like around three, or three and a half pounds on a hunting rifle.
My first good deer rifle, a Browning BAR, had one that weighed three and a quarter pounds.

I shot a bolt-action .375 H&H with a set trigger a few times several years ago. Set it was a very light, very good, trigger, but IMO it had no place on a .375.

I have my A-bolt set at 2 lbs, but I dont chamber a round untill I'm up in the tree. I dont jump ditches and fences with a rifle anyway.

I set the triggers on my long range target guns at 3#. And that's as light as I'd care to go on a big game rifle. Mine are typically between 4# and 6#. More important to me on a hunting rifle is a clean break than a light pull.
